Installation

in case there is no /usr/lib/libc.a file download it like this:

I386=http://mirrors.cat.pdx.edu/fedora/linux/releases/12/Everything/i386/os
wget $I386/Packages/glibc-static-2.11-2.i686.rpm -O - | rpm2cpio | cpio -id

Place the file libc.a from the usr/lib into the current directory.

Alternatively, remove the "-static" option from the Makefile target appc.
