TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR
NUMBER: 24413
SUBJECT: GRB 190507A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
DATE: 19/05/07 06:39:47 GMT
FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 06:28:23 UT on 7 May 2019, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 190507A (trigger 578903308.30089 / 190507270).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 156.0, Dec = -12.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 23m, 12d -48'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.8 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 72.0 degrees.

SUBJECT: Fermi Trigger 578903308 / GRB 190507270 / GRB190507A: BALROG localization
DATE: 19/05/07 07:33:13 GMT
FROM: Jochen Greiner at MPE,Garching
B. Biltzinger, F. Kunzweiler, F. Berlato, J. Burgess & J. Greiner (all MPE Garching) report:
The public trigdat data of the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) trigger
578903308 at 06:28:23 on 07 May 2019 were automatically fitted for spectrum
and sky location with BALROG (Burgess et al. 2018, MNRAS 476, 1427;
Berlato et al. 2019, ApJ 873, 60).
The best-fit position (1 sigma statistical errors) is:
RA(2000.0) = 158.4+/-3.5 deg
Decl.(2000.0) = -10.2+/-3.1 deg
We estimate an additional systematic error of 2 deg.
