Circular_text TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 25387 SUBJECT: GRB 190817A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 19/08/17 23:02:43 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 22:52:25 UT on 17 Aug 2019, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 190817A (trigger 587775150.501982 / 190817953). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 275.2, Dec = -31.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 20m, -31d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 92.0 degrees.
