Circular_text TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 27689 SUBJECT: GRB 200505A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 20/05/06 00:00:57 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 23:50:44 UT on 5 May 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 200505A (trigger 610415449.084498 / 200505994). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 81.1, Dec = -49.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 05h 24m, -49d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.5 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 17.0 degrees. Trois (INAF/OA-Cagliari), I. Donnarumma (ASI), F. Longo (Univ. Trieste and INFN Trieste), A. Giuliani (INAF/IASF-Mi), report on behalf of the AGILE Team: The AGILE satellite detected the long burst GRB 200505A, also reported by Fermi/GBM (GCN #27689; trigger 610415449.084498/200505994) at T0 = 2020-05-05 23:50:44 (UT). The event is visible in the scientific ratemeters of the SuperAGILE (SA; 20-60 keV) detector. The event lasted ~15 s and released a total number of ~630 counts in the SA ratemeters (above a background of ~75 Hz). The SA ratemeters light curve can be found at https://tools.ssdc.asi.it/ImgView/Agile/SARatDet1-4-SUM_SciRat_zoom200505A26 . Additional analysis of AGILE data is in progress.
