TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR
NUMBER: 28604
SUBJECT: GRB 201012A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
DATE: 20/10/12 05:46:04 GMT
FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 05:35:38 UT on 12 Oct 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 201012A (trigger 624173743.502338 / 201012233).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 303.7, Dec = -33.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 14m, -33d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.4 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 57.0 degrees.
