TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR
NUMBER: 28712
SUBJECT: GRB 201021A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
DATE: 20/10/21 02:50:20 GMT
FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 02:39:55 UT on 21 Oct 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 201021A (trigger 624940800.414594 / 201021111).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 174.4, Dec = -2.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 37m, -2d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.5 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 91.0 degrees.
