SUBJECT: GRB 220606C: CALET Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor detection
DATE: 22/06/08 06:20:55 GMT
FROM: Yuta Kawakubo at Louisiana State U./CALET
S. Nakahira (RIKEN), A. Yoshida, T. Sakamoto, S. Sugita (AGU),
Y. Kawakubo (LSU), K. Yamaoka (Nagoya U), Y. Asaoka (ICRR),

P. S. Marrocchesi (U of Siena),
and the CALET collaboration:
The long GRB 220606C triggered the CALET
Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (CGBM) at 13:35:14.394 UTC on 6 June 2022
(http://cgbm.calet.jp/cgbm_trigger/flight/1338557524/index.html).
The burst signal was seen by only SGM.
The burst light curve shows a single pulse which starts
at T+3.1 sec, peaks at T+4.1 sec, and ends at T+47.4 sec.
The T90 and T50 durations measured by the SGM data are 30.4 +/- 7.8 sec
and 6.9 +/- 0.6 sec (40-1000 keV), respectively.
The ground processed light curve is available at
http://cgbm.calet.jp/cgbm_trigger/ground/1338557524/
The CALET data used in this analysis are provided by
the Waseda CALET Operation Center located at the Waseda University.

on behalf of the MGNS/BepiColombo team,
J. Benkhoff on behalf of the BepiColombo team,
D. Svinkin, D. Frederiks, A. Ridnaia, A. Lysenko,
and T. Cline on behalf of the Konus-Wind team,
and
E. Bozzo and C. Ferrigno, on behalf of the INTEGRAL SPI-ACS GRB team, report:
The long-duration GRB 220606C
(CALET-CGBM detection: Nakahira et al., GCN Circ. 32180)
was detected by CALET (CGBM), INTEGRAL (SPI-ACS trigger 9949),
Konus-Wind, BepiColombo (MGNS), and GECAM-B (trigger tn220606_133517_fb)
at about 48918 s UT (13:35:18).
We have triangulated it to a preliminary, 3 sigma error box
whose coordinates are:
---------------------------------------------
RA(2000), deg Dec(2000), deg
---------------------------------------------
Center:
201.004 (13h 24m 01s) -5.258 ( -5d 15' 29")
Corners:
211.181 (14h 04m 43s) +9.433 ( +9d 25' 59")
210.801 (14h 03m 12s) +8.552 ( +8d 33' 07")
200.664 (13h 22m 39s) -22.171 (-22d 10' 16")
200.417 (13h 21m 40s) -23.101 (-23d 06' 03")
---------------------------------------------
The error box area is 16.3 sq. deg, and its maximum
dimension is 34.2 deg (the minimum one is 28 arcmin).
The Sun distance was 125 deg.
A triangulation map and HEALPix FITS file are posted at
http://www.ioffe.ru/LEA/GRBs/GRB220606_T48919/IPN/
The Konus-Wind time history and spectrum will be given in a forthcoming
GCN Circular.
