Circular_text TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36474 SUBJECT: GRB 240514C: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/05/14 10:30:40 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 10:20:01 UT on 14 May 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240514C (trigger 737374806.803636 / 240514431). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 164.8, Dec = 24.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 59m, 24d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.7 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 30.0 degrees.
