TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR
NUMBER: 38276
SUBJECT: GRB 241119A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
DATE: 24/11/19 08:33:48 GMT
FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 08:23:20 UT on 19 Nov 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 241119A (trigger 753697405.1833 / 241119350).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 248.2, Dec = -15.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 16h 32m, -15d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 5.2 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 100.0 degrees.
