Dagobah has an SSD for IndexCache. This is /data/exp/AMANDA/199*
Hoth uses /mnt/space for IndexCache. This is /data/exp/AMANDA/199*, but not the whole transfer yet. However it looks quite similar. The stuff before this morning was a (killed) ingest of some 200* data, but since it had such a wildly different size mix I stopped it and started the same type of ingest as dagobah had done.
Next day:
Hoth's ingest was 158GB/sec, dagobah's was 169GB/sec. Less than 7% difference is not very significant; it could be due to contention for the server.
The scan took almost 3 hours, and the transfer almost 18 for a full backup of /mnt/home
Note that Simpana splits the read nicely over both ports.
