The one minute data contained in these files comes from the old WATCHER program. The data contained in the files are in the following order:

Column 1: Main wind tower wind direction (grid direction)
Column 2: Main wind tower wind speed (knots)
Column 3: Pressure (mb)
Column 4: Temperature (degC)
Column 5: Secondary wind tower wind direction (grid direction)
Column 6: Secondary wind tower direction (knots [see caveats])
Column 7: Secondary pressure reading (mb)

Caveats:

1. There are years in which some of the daily data is missing.
2. Some years do not include a secondary pressure reading.
3. Some years show the secondary wind speed in m/s.
4. Some years show negative wind direction. Not sure what this is about. Could be due to instrument maintenance or simply erroneous data.
5. One minute data for 2008 and 2009 are collected in a different format. The skiway tower is the main tower for all wind data. Pressure and temperature data is taken from the Clean Air (CAIR) Tower.
6. Data sets for half of 2005, all of 2006 and 2007 are missing due to a hard drive crash and subsequent loss of data.
