Alina Kochocki

I am a fourth-year fellow in the physics graduate program at Michigan State University (MSU). My primary focus is neutrino astroparticle physics, with adjacent interests in astrophysics and high-energy particle physics. I am a member of the IceCube Collaboration, benefiting from MSU's substantial involvement on the experiment, and more broadly within high energy. I maintain efforts in data analysis, signal modeling and phenomenology, as well as event reconstruction, instrument construction and testing. My work has had an emphasis on statistical methods, including machine learning, numerical modeling and ensemble sampling.

IceCube is an opportunity for frontier work. I am thankful to be involved with the collaboration, and look forward to both advances and challenges within the field and related areas.

I am originally from "just outside" Boston, Massachusetts. East Coast supremacy?
